psymirror Privacy Policy

Local-first assessments and storage

• We do not require registration or sign-in for basic use.
• The website stores assessment answers, scores, result snapshots, mood notes, language, and color preferences in your browser only.
• The app stores results you choose to save inside the local app container.
• You can remove website data through your browser's site-data controls and remove app results inside the app.

Optional network services

• Weather uses Shanghai by default. Only after you select “Use my location” and approve the browser permission are coordinates sent directly to Open-Meteo for a forecast.
• The weather snapshot is cached in your browser for up to 30 minutes; psymirror does not receive your precise location through this feature.
• If you submit the Contact form, the name, contact detail, request type, and message you provide are sent to the psymirror backend so we can respond and improve the service.
• Do not submit identity numbers, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive information through the Contact form.

Tracking and future boundaries

• We do not use advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
• We do not read contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data.
• If accounts, cloud sync, or deeper personal organization features are added, this policy will be updated and consent requested before those features are enabled.
• If digital content unlocks are offered in the app, the app version will follow Apple In-App Purchase requirements.
• psymirror does not provide medical diagnosis, psychotherapy, prescription guidance, or crisis intervention.

For a privacy question, a request to delete information submitted through the Contact form, or a policy correction, use the Contact page at psymirror.org and identify the information you want us to locate.
